Imagine coming across this one day. 

On a totally normal, slightly bored walk in the woods.

Turning around the bend and seeing this. 

Just imagine.

i’m not even a massive doctor who fan and this broke my heart

this like seeing hogwarts as a ruin (and not being a muggle, so you know it’s really a ruin)

or seeing 221b being rented out by some horrible college kids partying and being loud

or the impala being crushed and useless (wait, i’m not up-to-date with supernatural atm, but didn’t something bad actually happen to the impala? fuck that show is just heart-break central)

I’m not even a Doctor Who fan but this is just plain sad, and wrong, and just..NOT RIGHT

I would break down if I was walking in  the woods one day and I saw this. I would run towards it as fast as I could and try to open it. 

Oh my god. Why did I just imagine Katniss walking through the woods in the arena and seeing this?

I am actually crying.  I saw this picture and my throat closed up and my stomach fell to my feet and my brain went fuzzy and I just cried.

The TARDIS it my favorite character.  She is the only one on the show that I will protect to the death.  Even more than the Doctor or Rose.

Since my first episode, since I first learned that this ship was a living sentient being, I have loved her.  And seeing this makes me so sick to my stomach.

This hurts more than Dobby.

My friend Belle and i were having a chat on facebook about this, and I told her I would make a post on tumblr outlining all of the different canons about the Doctor’s lineage and his relationship with the master.

1. Is the Doctor 1/2 human?

• The Master reveals this secret through the Eye of Harmony inside the Doctor’s TARDIS. (x)
• Penelope Gate -  a woman from 1883 who built a time machine, traveled to 1996, and was returned to her time by the 7th Doctor.  She later met a Time Lord names Ulysses, married him, and secretly moved to Gallifrey where they had a son; ironically, the Doctor. (x)
• Russel T. Davies stated that the woman in “The End of Time” was meant to be Penelope Gate, but left it up to the fan’s judgement. (x)
• Ulysses was the Doctor’s father who turned renegade and became a professor on Earth at Berkeley under the name ‘Daniel Joyce’.  He assisted the 8th Doctor, while he (the Doctor) was still having memory problems, in closing a dimensional scar. He called the Doctor “son” multiple times. (x)
• The Doctor told Grace Halloway, after regenerating into his 8th body, that he remembered both being loomed and also having a father. (x)
• Also, the Doctor has a belly-button, which no other Time Lords do.(x)

There is some speculation that Penelope Gate and Ulysses; knowing that Marnal, another Time Lord, knew about Penelope and the Doctor’s human heritage; took a Time Lord mind from the Looms and integrated it into their son’s mind, thus giving him that Time Lord’s memories of being loomed.  This also ties in with the Doctor being a reincarnation of the Other, a Time Lord who threw himself into the Looms in hopes of escape Rassilon.

Personaly, I believe this, though there are large holes in this story.  Like what happened between Ulysses and Penelope to cause him to leave her on Gallifrey while he went to Earth, subsequently marrying another human woman name Anne?  And how is it that Pelenope Gate ended up on earth with Rassilon in “The End of Time”?

There’s just a lot of guessing, and reaching, but it can definitely be canon if you want to believe it.  

2. Is the Master the Doctor’s brother?

• During Paul McGann’s audition for the role of the 8th Doctor, it is revealed that the Doctor and the Master were sons of Ulysses.  The Doctor, however, being a son of a human woman Ulysses met on Earth.  When his mother died, Ulysses sent the Doctor back to Gallifrey to be raised like a Time Lord. (x)

This script was cut after the movie failed to give a good boost to the franchise.  

Which is one of the worst things to happen in a very long time, not just because of the plot, but because Paul McGann made a lovely Doctor.

So, Belle, I hope this has been entertaining and informative.  And to anyone else, I hope I haven’t caused you any strife over this.

This is absolutely the most beautiful thing I’ve ever read.

Rose Tyler was back and walking around Wales, and the Doctor was there and they met up and he freaked out, obviously. But he was the 10th Doctor, even though I thought it was a new episode.

Anyway, Rose and the Doctor save the world by using a virtual design program on the real world somehow, and then they end up in a supermarket because Rose wants to buy some new cookies that are out that are made with Nutella.

While in the store, she tells the Doctor that she has some sort of disease and is slowly turning into a stone, and he thinks she’s being sucked back into the other universe, and she heads off for the cookies, but turns invisible/is stuck between universes, and the Doctor leaves after buying the cookies that she was talking about.
